Projects
CDAG
The CDAG project is an architectural design that stands out due to the use of simple geometric volumes in varying heights and staggered arrangements. This composition guides the user through a visual and physical journey, creating an experience of flow and continuity.
The goal is to create a space that invites exploration through the repetition of cubic forms, adding dynamism and a progressively appealing visual effect. The open design and visual connection between areas create an environment suitable for recreational activities, integrating natural elements to enhance the connection between architecture and the human connection to nature.
Tiffany Showroom
This showroom is designed to adapt to various user experiences, especially focusing on gastronomic and entertainment events. The goal is to offer a versatile space that can accommodate different types of users and events, highlighting the space's adaptability and its ability to transform the visitor's experience.
Mercado de artesanias
This market is inspired by the concept of endoliths, organisms that thrive in rocky environments. The design aims to integrate with the existing Mayan museum, enhancing its connection without the need to replace the market. The goal is to maximize and improve the already existing spaces, adapting them to the context of the museum, and providing an accessible and visually coherent path for visitors.
With a layout of varied-sized and configured stalls, integrating architectural elements that reflect a diverse and culturally enriched environment. Highlighting the connection with the Maya museum and universal accessibility, the space becomes inclusive and aligned with the historical context.
TAÍNO Ceramic School
Inspired by Taíno culture, this ceramic and porcelain school uses local jar shapes to develop its interior concept. Each area is categorized to ensure an efficient and attractive flow.
The goal is to create an environment that combines both teaching and artistic practice, highlighting the Taíno culture while offering a coherent path that facilitates learning and creativity. It includes differentiated areas for workshops, studios, a bistro, and administration. Vertical circulation, with stairs and elevators, plays an important role in accessibility and aesthetics.
Bird House
Inspired by the Juan Diéguez Olaverri Lookout, this hospitality project recreates the aesthetic and spirit of the iconic lookout of the Cuchumatanes.
The goal is to offer an accommodation space that celebrates the natural landscape and the poetic history of the Cuchumatanes, providing a culturally resonant and visually appealing refuge.
Distributed across three levels, the design includes common areas such as a lobby, bar, gym, dining room, and rooms on the upper floors. Each floor is organized to provide comfort and access to services in a harmonious environment.
Museum of Brother Pedro (MUHEP)
The project proposes the repurposing of the cloister of the San Francisco El Grande Church in Antigua Guatemala, while respecting its historical and cultural value. The proposal includes contemporary spaces dedicated to artistic and educational exhibitions, blending tradition with modernity.
The goal is to create a dynamic space that promotes cultural interaction and learning, offering environments designed for exhibitions and artistic activities within a historically significant setting.
